Silence is Golden

Sometimes it’s best to just not say anything and let it play out.

Jesus even admonished us in Matthew 7:6, “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs.” (NIV) It’s translated in the KJV, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine.”

So sometimes it’s better to stay silent.

“Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.” (Prov. 17:28, NIV)
